SATURDAY, MARCH 30 (start times vary by distance) – MONTANA DE ORO TRAIL RUNS (12K Half Marathon, 36K, 50K):
This is part of the Pacific Coast Trail Run series designed to provide quality trail running experiences. The check-in, start, and finish are at Spooner’s Cove in Montana de Oro State Park on Pecho Valley Road in Los Osos. All courses are hilly ones on trails through the park and offer varied types of terrain. The 12K covers Valencia Peak, the 21K goes along Hazard Peak, the 36K does both of those, and the 50K tackles the “Three Peaks” – Hazard, Valencia, and Oat’s.
