SAT., JULY 20 (8:30 AM) – BRIAN WATERBURY ROCK TO PIER RUN & ROCK’N AROUND THE PIER HALF MARATHON:
This marks the 54th running of the Rock to Pier Run and the 10th running of the Half Marathon. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. The 6 mile is a point-to-point race held on the beach from the start at Morro Rock to the finish at the Cayucos Pier while the Half Marathon begins at Morro Rock, goes to the Cayucos Pier, then turns around and heads back. Parking is limited in Cayucos and participants are encouraged to return to Morro Bay via the provided bus transportation. There is a large parking lot available at Morro Rock but allow plenty of time to check in. A breakfast will be held after the race in the starting area at Morro Rock along with the awards presentation and a live band. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in 9 age divisions from ages 14 & under to 80 & over. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
