SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17 (2:00 P.M.) – ARROYO GRANDE YOUTH TURKEY TROTS:
A series of races by grade level for boys and girls, starting with 1/8 mile for kindergarten and below up through a mile for 7th & 8th grades. The races will be held at Arroyo Grande High School, 495 Valley Road at the track. Boys and girls run separately with a turkey to the winner, a chicken to the runner-up, and a game hen for third in each race. Sign-up at the AGHS track prior to the races. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28 (8:30 A.M.) – AVILA BEACH TURKEY TROT:
This event will have a 5 mile run and 2 mile walk. Check-in is at The Promenade on Front Street and the courses will go out-and-back along the Bob Jones bike trail. A donation of $20 is suggested and the money will go to the Food Bank Coalition. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28 (8:30 A.M.) – PISMO BEACH TURKEY TROT:
Start and finish on the sand on the south side of the Pismo Beach pier and choose from distances of one mile, 5K, & 10K. There is no entry fee but donations are welcome and the money goes to the Food Bank Coalition. More information is available on the web site at www.southcountyturkeytrot.com.

All ages and abilities are welcome at this new event, to be held at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion. The suggested donation of $20 will help support the El Camino Homeless Organization’s mission to aid the underprivileged in the north county where they host a 50 bed transitional shelter.
