SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 (6:00 AM/7:30 AM/8:30 AM/9:30 AM) – SLO ULTRAS AT WILD CHERRY CANYON:
This event will consist of trail runs at four different distances – a 50 mile (6:00 AM start), a 26.2 mile trail marathon (7:30 AM start), a 13.1 mile half marathon (8:30 AM start), and a 5 mile cross country course (9:30 AM start). All four distances are made up of pristine coastal rolling hills over fire roads with some single track connectors. They include various loops that have both canyons and epic view climbs. Wildlife is plentiful and you will be sharing the course with cattle and horses. There will be a finish line festival from Noon-5:00 PM with local musicians, free to the public and all race participants.
