SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20 (9:00 A.M.) – SANTA MARIA RECREATION DEPARTMENT TURKEY TROT:
The City of Santa Maria invites you to get in shape by participating in the 24th Annual Turkey Trot. Start your run at Jim May Park, continue through the adjacent neighborhood, and then follow the multi-purpose trail along the Santa Maria River levy. Runners in the 5K will make a u-turn at the Santa Maria River and follow the route back to Jim May Park. Event check-in starts at 8:00 AM, the 5K begins at 9:00, and kids one mile begins at 9:45. Jim May Park is located at 809 Stanford Drive in Santa Maria and registration is through www.active.com.
