SATURDAY, MARCH 17 (8:30 AM) – SAN LUIS OBISPO HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO 5K:
The SLO Health and Fitness Expo 5K starts and finishes at the Alex Madonna Expo Center at 100 Madonna Road. It offers beautiful views of San Luis Obispo and takes you along the SLO bike path up a mountain trail and back to the Expo Center. The Fitness Expo encourages walkers and runners of all abilities to come enjoy the healthy lifestyle of the central coast.
Pre-registration can be done through the web site at http://inspiredexpos.com/5k-run/ or at www.active.com. Awards will go to the top men and women to finish. Proceeds benefit Project Teen Health, a childhood obesity prevention program operated by the Community Action Partnership.
