SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12 (2:00 P.M.) – ARROYO GRANDE YOUTH TURKEY TROTS:
The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Department along with the Arroyo Grande Lions Club have annually provided this event since 1978. It is a series of races by grade level for boys and girls, starting with 1/8 mile for pre-school up through a mile for 7th & 8th grades. The races will be held at Arroyo Grande High School, 495 Valley Road at the track with registration starting at 1:00 PM. Boys and girls run the same distance but separately with a turkey to the winner, a chicken to the runner-up, and a cornish game hen for third in each race.
