This series of meets at Atascadero High School is open to all ages and abilities. Distances on the track range from the 100M to the 3000M and include relays and hurdles. PISMO BEACH STRIDE WITH THE TIDE 5K
This course is out and back on the hard packed sand. Registration will be taken on race morning from 7:15-8:15 AM at the Pismo Beach pier at the end of Pomeroy Avenue and no entry is needed before that.
Entry fees are $15 without a race shirt and $25 with one. Shirts will be available to the first 150 entries and size requests will be filled in the order of entry. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three men and women ages 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, & 80+.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 7 (6:15 P.M.) – RUNNING WAREHOUSE PUB RUN #5:
This is the fifth in the Running Warehouse series of pub runs. There is no registration fee and the runs will be 3-4 miles (untimed). Each run will have a shoe sponsor offering the opportunity to test out their latest footwear and the run will be followed by a raffle and refreshments. SATURDAY, AUGUST 11 9am – ORCUTT TRAILS 5K & 10K:
These runs will take place at Orcutt Community Park, located at 5800 South Bradley Road in Orcutt. The courses will start from Orcutt Community Park and loop around the Orcutt Trails system. The moderate elevation changes on non-technical dirt trails make the course challenging but not difficult, along with beautiful views across the Santa Maria Valley and out to the ocean. Proceeds from this event support the Santa Maria Valley Open Space trail advocacy group in their efforts to expand, develop, and maintain trails and open space for the Santa Maria Valley. SATURDAY, AUGUST 25 (8:00 A.M.) – 30TH DUNE RUN 5K RUN, 5K WALK, & 10K RUN
Runners and walkers of all ages will enjoy this diverse course along city streets, the beach boardwalk, hard packed sand, and soft sand dunes. T-shirts will go to the first 100 to register and awards to the top two finishers in many age categories in both races. Start and finish at Ramona Gardens Park at 993 Ramona Avenue in Grover Beach. SUNDAY, AUGUST 26 (8:15 AM) – DIONYSUS DASH 5K:
This run takes place at the Vina Robles Winery at 3700 Mill Road in Paso Robles. The course goes through the vineyards and is for novice and avid runners as well as wine tasters and walkers. Be prepared for a trail run through dirt, rocks, and grass. Those under 21 can run but are not eligible for the wine tasting or awards. The schedule is as follows: 6:30 AM – Winery gates open; 6:30-7:30 AM – Race packet pickup; 8:15 AM – Race time with wine tasting to follow. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 (6:00 AM/7:30 AM/8:30 AM/9:30 AM) – SLO ULTRAS
This event will consist of trail runs at four different distances – a 50 mile (6:00 AM start), a 26.2 mile trail marathon (7:30 AM start), a 13.1 mile half marathon (8:30 AM start), and a 5Kcross country course (9:30 AM start). All four distances are made up of pristine coastal rolling hills over fire roads with some single track connectors.

The SLO Ultra will start and finish at the Dairy Creek Event Center at El Chorro County Park and offer access to the private trails of SLO County Parks, Cal Poly, and Camp San Luis Obispo.

This race is part of Cambria’s Pinedorado Days celebration and runs along a course that follows the Pinedorado parade route. The race, which takes place just before the parade, starts and finishes at Coast Union High School, 2950 Santa Rosa Creek Road in Cambria with registration opening at 7:00 AM. The entry fee is $15 without a shirt and $20 with one. It is a fundraiser for Coast Union’s American Field Service program and is directed by Sharon Bisso (995-1432) and Marcia Hilger (927-4965).

This race will take place on the sand in Pismo Beach with registration at the Addie Street parking lot south of the pier. It is a fundraiser for the eye disease LCA and is named in honor of Anthony, a student who suffers from this disease which causes blindness.
