SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12 (7:00 AM/8:30 AM/9:30 AM) – PASO ROBLES HALF MARATHON, 5K, & FAMILY MILE:
This race will start and finish in the Downtown City Park at 11th & Spring Streets in Paso Robles. Runners in the half marathon will enjoy a tour of the city center before heading out towards the hills of Paso Robles wine country. The half start is at 7:00 AM and the course limit is 4 hours. Fee includes a short-sleeve tech unisex shirt, bib timing, awards, aid stations, and a well-marked course. The 5K starts at 8:30 AM ands is two paved loops through downtown Paso Robles. The Family Mile and SLO County Elementary School Championship Race is a paved loop around the Downtown City Park for young competitive runners, beginners, and families who want to race together. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20 (2:00 P.M.) – ARROYO GRANDE YOUTH TURKEY TROTS:
A series of races by grade level for boys and girls, starting with 1/8 mile for kindergarten and below up through a mile for 7th & 8th grades. The races will be held at Arroyo Grande High School, 495 Valley Road at the track. Boys and girls run separately with a turkey to the race winner, a chicken to the runner-up, and a cornish game hen for third in each race plus raffle prizes from local businesses. There is no entry fee and sign ups are at the AGHS track prior to the races.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10 (8:00 A.M.) – SPOONER’S COVE MONTANA DE ORO TRAIL RUNS (5M/8M/25K/50K):
This is part of the Coastal Trail Run series designed to provide quality trail running experiences. Check-in, start, and finish at Spooner’s Cove in Montana de Oro State Park, 2828 Pecho Valley Road (Los Osos). Enjoy views of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and vast expanse of the ocean at the “Mountain of Gold”. The 5 mile course has minimal climbing and runs along the bluff. For sweeping views of the ocean and inland mountains, try the 8 mile course that brings you up the 1,347-foot Valencia Peak. The 25 km course consists of two loops, the 8 mi route and then head out to the 1076-foot grassy summit of Hazard Peak. Not enough climbing? Complete the 25 Km route twice for a 50K day. Start the New Year off with the second annual New Year’s Day Pismo Plunge 5K & Polar Plunge. The run will take place entirely on the beach and start and finish at the foot of the historic Pismo Beach Pier. As a bonus, you will have the opportunity to earn your “Pismo to Plunge” headband by taking the plunge into the ocean after you finish the run! Directed by Luis Escobar, these runs will take place at the La Cuesta Ranch just outside of San Luis Obispo at 2400 Loomis Road. The ranch backs up to Poly Canyon and the West Cuesta Ridge. This is a working ranch and the start/finish area will be at the ranch barn. This event features 100% dirt trails and ranch roads with fantastic views of the West Cuesta Ridge.
